The Morimoto 7-Piece Block Set is made of super steel formula of superior quality. Each blade is forged from a single piece of this unique steel using the trademarked process called Sigmaforge and then undergoes Friodur ice hardening process to maximize the performance properties. The Honbazuke method is a unique Japanese method of sharpening knives and swords. Each blade is honed to the an angle of between 9.5 and 12 degrees per side by a skilled artisan. This Japanese geometry combined with German technology makes knife accuracy almost perfect.
