The Emonda SL 5 bike uses all the tricks and tech that Trek is well known for: a BB90 bottom bracket and E2 head tube for stiffness and handling, internal cable routing for a clean look, and their super-light, ride-tuned seatmast. Trek whittled down the carbon frame to just 1,050 grams and tweaked the specific layup of the carbon and the geometry to give it a ride quality that others only hope to achieve.
